Waterside Heritage - front page

15th August 2026
We're very sad to announce that our Vice-Chairman, Gordon Chambers died on 10th August after a long illness, stoically endured. We present a brief obit here.
This leaves Waterside Heritage with a number of challenges. First we need a new Vice-Chairman. Any volunteers would be welcome. Then, we need to complete the work on the book as part of his, and Graham’s, legacy – it was expected later this year but will now probably appear next year.

Carolyn Bianchi has recently stepped down from the WHC committee. As the longest-serving member of the committee, we are most grateful for her invaluable contributions and dedication over the years, and wish her the very best for the future.
